July Edition of Goodreading Magazine

Goodreading magazine is 10 years old this month. Happy Birthday!

In the July edition, you are whisked off to Prince Edward Island, Canada, the home of L M Montgomery, creator of everyone’s favourite redhead, Anne Shirley. Or you could go on a tour of literary Norwich, England in the Writer’s City segment, or take a stroll along Ireland’s St Declan’s Way in the Behind the Book pages.

In Me my shelf I Austen Tayshus (aka Sandy Gutman) chats about his favourite reads and the Book clubs’ July books take you to China and into the life of Stieg Larsson.

There are two Coffee table books being showcased; animals in The Exultant Ark and Ken Duncan’s beautiful photographs in his latest book, Walking in the Light and a short story, Marked by Bernie McGill. And in Readers’ life meet the team that puts Goodreading together each month.

All this and plenty of reviews of fiction and non-fiction books in all sorts of genres and formats and for all ages.

Where can you read this wondrous material? In the July edition of Goodreading magazine available through the library either in print (ask staff to reserve a copy for you) or online here – all you have to do is enter your Blue Mountains Library card number and you’re in.
