The Good The Bad The Ugly : Reviewed by You

Imperial Bedrooms by Bret Easton Ellis

Review : In 1985 Bret Easton Ellis achieved fame with his novel Less Than Zero, a rambling tale of rich, feckless youth whose personalities were, indeed, ‘less than zero’.

Twenty years later, Ellis revisits his characters and writes the novel he should have originally written (he having matured more than his fictional personages). This is a sharply observed, well-paced thriller about Hollywood power brokers and wannabees.

Some bad violence towards the end.
