Dr Byrne is the author of Criminal Law and Colonial Subject and talks to Naomi Oliver about her latest book, Judge Advocate – Ellis Bent – Letters and Diaries 1809-1811. She has also lectured at a number of Australian Universities and held research positions at Sydney University, the ANU, and the National Library of Australia.
