The library has acquired 3 new online resources for kids: Busy Things, Literacy Planet and TumbleBooks (animated talking eBooks for kids).
These resources are accessible both from home and from the library and have been included on the Premium Sites page.
All you need to access from home is a current Blue Mountains Library card.

Literacy Planet
Literacy Planet is a learn-to-read literacy and numeracy resource for children of all abilities (age 3 and up). Children can create characters and earn rewards in return for completing fun tasks. Literacy Planet focuses on pre-reading skills, phonics, reading, spelling, vocabulary, grammar and comprehension. Basic mathematics and math concepts also included.
TumbleBooks
A collection of animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love. TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.
