Yesterday we hosted an afternoon tea at Springwood Library and Library Manager, Vicki Edmunds, presented certificates and prize packs to the winners and the highly commended artists in our Love2Read Book Cover Art Competition.

The judge, Sarah Gurich, was very impressed by the high quality and vivid imaginations shown by all the children who entered the competition. Staff were also delighted, both by the response (over 100 entries) and by the variety of books that have, at one time or another, taken hold in the children’s consciousness and made an impact.
