Prime Minister Julia Gillard has called for entries to the 2013 Prime Minister’s Literary Awards.
Entries are now invited in the adult fiction, non-fiction, Australian history, poetry, young adult fiction and children’s fiction categories. The winner of each award will receive $80,000 tax-free and shortlisted entries will receive $5,000 tax-free.
The guidelines have been amended this year to allow collaborative works by a community group, or a community group and named authors, to be entered. We encourage you to read the 2013 guidelines for more information on Awards entry criteria.
Entries close on 16 January 2013.
