Read Watch Play Twitter Reading Group – September : Historyread

Back to the future soon library peeps. It’s the end of a month steeping ourselves in history. Oooh my other favourite!

I was reading No Great Mischief by Alistair MacLeod. Set in Nova Scotia in the 1770s, I was drawn to it because on the back it says “the 1759 battle at Quebec that was won when General Wolfe sent in the fierce Highlanders because it was ‘no great mischief if they fall.'”

What was your #historyread this month?  How far back did you go? Was it fiction or non-fiction?

Share with us by joining this month’s live twitter discussion next Tuesday24 September starting at 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Use the tags #historyread and #rwpchat as you discuss your furry reading, watching and playing.

Now, we’ve been nagging you all year – the Twitter book group meets on the last Tuesday of every month – put it in your diary, smartphone, MS Outlook, or tattoo it on your arm. Just remember and join in!
