May 12 – 18 is National Law Week.
Blue Mountains Library is celebrating Law Week 2014 with a FREE talk by Solicitor, Mr Paul McPhee (from McPhee Kelshaw).
“Planning the Future – Wills, Powers of Attorney and Appointment of Enduring Guardians”
Saturday 17 May, 2014
2pm to 3pm
How do you make a valid will, and what happens if you don’t leave a will? What does an executor do? And how can you ensure your wishes are followed if you become incapacitated? This talk will include some information in relation to Estate Planning and the necessity, or otherwise, of Advance Health Care Directives.
This talk will be a great opportunity to find out what you need to know about planning for your family’s future, and how you can find more information through ‘Find Legal Answers’, a free state-wide service at your local public library and online.
Bookings are essential and can be made by phoning Springwood Library on 4723 5040, or by speaking with staff at any Library branch.
